Funding for cross-border touring of existing performing arts works through international partnerships promoting inclusion, diversity and environmental sustainability across Creative Europe countries.

Perform Europe is a funding scheme supporting international collaborations in the performing arts sector across 41 Creative Europe countries. It funds partnership-based projects that aim to rethink and improve cross-border touring practices. The call focuses on promoting inclusion, diversity, and environmentally sustainable approaches in touring and presentation.

TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Cross-border touring and presentation of at least one existing performing arts work (physical, digital or hybrid), including complementary activities such as workshops or talks, with a focus on innovation, inclusion and sustainability.

SECTORS / DOMAIN: Performing arts, including theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts and puppetry (excluding live music and opera).

INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Consortium (partnership) required; each proposal must involve a minimum of three partners from at least three different Creative Europe countries.

SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be organisations or professionals legally based in Creative Europe countries; partnerships must include a lead partner; proposals must include at least one finished artistic work from one of the eligible sub-sectors of yhe performing sectors (finished production or an artistic concept ready to be applied and present in different contexts) that will be presented in at least three Creative Europe countries.

SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: Projects must belong to circus, dance, outdoor arts, performance art, puppetry or theatre (opera and live music aren't eligible) and address both priorities (1) inclusion and diversity and (2) fight against climate change, selecting one as the main focus while integrating the other.

PROJECTS DURATION: Touring period between 1 March 2027 and 31 January 2028 (maximum 11 months).

BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: 100%
Budget conditions / limitations: Grants of EUR 15,000, EUR 25,000 or EUR 55,000, plus optional top-ups up to EUR 5,000, with a maximum of EUR 60,000 per project. A 5% of the total funding will be allocated to proposals involving Ukrainian partners or supporting the Ukrainian performing arts sector.
Payments: 60% after contract signature, 20% after first report, 20% after project completion; top-ups paid after final project completion and approval.
